Resilient cities, informed decisions.
I am an Associate Professor and master's supervisor at the School of Management Science and Real Estate, Chongqing University, where I joined in June 2026.
Research approach
I combine physical modeling, machine learning and deep learning to understand complex urban systems. My research connects risk assessment and process simulation with scenario evaluation and design optimization, supporting practical decisions for resilient infrastructure.

Background
My path into research has been shaped by generous mentors and enduring collaborations. It began at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology in 2015 under the guidance of Prof. Bowen Du.
I continued my studies in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, receiving my master's degree in Computer Technology in 2019 with the guidance of Associate Prof. Xi Xiao and Prof. Shu-Tao Xia. I later completed my Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering in 2024 at the Tsinghua–Berkeley Shenzhen Institute, Tsinghua University, jointly advised by Associate Prof. Li Xiao and Prof. Zuo-Jun Max Shen. I remain deeply grateful for their guidance, encouragement and trust, and hope to carry that same generosity into my own work with students.
Before joining Chongqing University, I was a Senior Researcher in the AI Innovation Group at Jen Music AI (2024–2026).
I am especially fortunate to share this journey with Dr. Xiaoyan Cao of Peking University, my closest research collaborator. Our partnership holds a special place in my academic life, grounded in mutual trust, shared curiosity and the pleasure of pursuing meaningful questions together.
